Kerri-Ann Campbell, MS, LMHC
Life is a journey and sometimes adjusting to changes and challenges in our lives can be overwhelming. Sometimes we just need a listening ear, a safe place to be heard and to be given the support needed for that moment and beyond. My role as your counselor is to help you build connections within yourself and others around you. By allowing you the opportunity to be heard, I create an atmosphere for a safe environment with a non-judgemental space. I approach therapy in a direct way to challenge clients to meet their potential and meet their goals. I promote honesty for yourself to create open communication and direction to change in a positive way.
I received my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. My background and multicultural experiences has given me the opportunity to work in a diverse range of settings that includes government agencies, community based in -home individual and family therapy, private practice and employee assistance programs with individuals, families and children. I have extensive experience working with military personal and family related issues and specialization with eating disorders, mood disorders, parenting and stress and anger management.
My goal as your counselor is to provide a multicultural perspective and support needed on your life journey to assist you with adjusting to changes in order to enjoy a more fulfilling and flourishing life. Counseling can assist you with making changes and improvements in your life and learn coping strategies to deal with your past and your present so you can continue your life journey as a healthier and happier individual, and I am here to help you.
