Pre-Marital Group for Texas: This comprehensive 8-hour course, held on the first Saturday of each month, prepares couples to meet the curriculum requirements for obtaining a marriage license in Texas while equipping them for a successful marriage. The course runs from 8:00 AM to 5:10 PM CST, with a 60-minute lunch break and two 5-minute breaks. It offers significant benefits such as a reduced marriage license fee and a waiver of the three-day waiting period. Limited to 6 couples (12 people) per session, the course covers essential topics, including communication skills, conflict resolution, relationship expectations, emotional connection, practical considerations, and legal aspects. Couples enhance their readiness for marriage and personal growth by fulfilling the state-approved premarital education requirements.
